---

We are happy yo inform you that School of Social Work(SSW) has been recognised as the Winner for its outstanding contributions in the EXCELLENCE IN INSTITUTIONAL SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (ISR) category, in the 9TH FICCI HIGHER EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS.

The SSW had applied for this award under the category of ISR to highlight the work by the faculty, students and Field Action Projects in the SSW, which is an example of praxis - taking the classroom to the field and bringing the field into the classroom. We thank the faculty, students and FAP Project Leaders and project staff for their contribution towards engaging in the field with marginalised populations and keeping the social work curriculum and pedagogy relevant. We would like to acknowledge the efforts put in by Ms. Sharli Mudaliyar, PhD scholar (https://in.linkedin.com/in/sharli-mudaliyar-ab014864) in the SSW for helping us with the submission of the application.
